Westlake Recording Studios accepts the following payment methods: Credit Card, Apple Pay, PayPal, or ACH/Wire Transfer.
You, the client, represents that you have the right to and do authorize Westlake Studios the amount due, which may include any balance due on your session(s), including but not limited to session overtime, rental gear, catering and/or incidental charges. You understand that your card will be charged for the amounts due on your invoice without any further action on your part based on the initial charge you have granted.
Net billing is accepted from business entities that have established formal credit terms with Westlake Studios.
A payment for the entire amount of the studio time is required at the time of booking. Accepted forms of payment include Credit Card, Apple Pay, Paypal, or ACH/Wire Transfer. ACH or Wire payments require proof of transfer 24 hours prior to the session start time. No media or recordings will be released until all costs, including overages (if any) are received.
Any filming or video production must have prior approval and is subject to an increased rate structure or flat fee. Filming and video recording on premises is only permitted with a signed location agreement and COI (Certificate of Insurance).
The client agrees to pay the studio rate quoted by Westlake Recording Studios.
Hourly Booking: 6-hour minimum.
Lockout Booking: Invoiced/Billed as a 12-hour day.
Overtime: Invoiced/Charged in 15-minute increments.
All of our studio rates include an assistant engineer. If requested, a 1st engineer can be arranged at an additional cost. Once booked, we will put you in contact with the 1st engineer and they will bill you directly.
Rates are good for 30 days from the date of quote.
Session invoicing will begin at the scheduled start time and it will end at the final departure of the studio room by all session attendees.
Westlake may be able to accommodate early arrivals. The session start time will be adjusted to reflect the earlier time.
Westlake Team members will be ready at the approved start time of a session. Late arrivals will be billed from the original start time.
Session will be billed at full rate of booked studio time, rentals and rider items.
Cancellations or reschedules must be communicated no later than 24 hours before a scheduled start time. If the studio is canceled within the 24-hour period, the studio time will be billed at the full hourly rate (with a 6-hour minimum) or the established lockout rate.
Please note that Westlake Recording Studios cannot be held responsible for any lost, damaged, or destroyed session files (recordings) or client materials left on our premises. This includes but is not limited to personal possessions, hard drives, audio gear, audio tape, or any recorded media and session files left behind. We advise all clients to take the necessary precautions to safeguard their belongings and files.
We strongly recommend that clients take session files at the conclusion of their session.
The client affirms that he/she is the rightful owner or assignee of the material to be recorded/reproduced (used). Westlake Recording Studios is not responsible for copyright violations.
If the client or their guests remove any items from the facility without seeking management approval, it may be subject to full cost of replacement.
Audio equipment damaged by the client or their guests during the session is the client's responsibility and will be billed at full repair or replacement cost.
If the client or their guests cause any damage to the facility, audio gear, or furniture during the session, they will be held accountable and billed for the full cost of repair or replacement.
An additional fee may be charged if the premises require excessive cleaning.
Cigarette smoking is not allowed in the facility. A cleaning fee will apply if this policy is not followed.
A cleaning fee of up to $500 will be charged for excessive pet hair, drool, or urine found in the studios, lounges, or common areas.
Studios are inspected with a black light by management after a pet is present.
By booking Westlake Recording Studios, all individuals entering a session agree to indemnify and hold the studio harmless from any claims, costs, losses, or injuries.
